Cambria Co., PA (WJAC) — Authorities with the Nicktown Fire Company have provided new details regarding Monday afternoon's building fire in Barr Township.
According to fire chief Gregg Shank, the blaze caused extensive damage to the Amish-owned roofing business, located along the 300 block of Amadei Road.
Investigators say the fire is believed to have started in the business' "motor room."
While no injuries were reported, firefighters says Monday's windy conditions were a factor in extinguishing the blaze.
Chief Shank says that approximately 8 area departments, from Cambria and Indiana counties, were on scene for nearly seven hours.
